My HCG Experience

I just wanted to let everyone know I've started a new blog which share's my experience doing the HCG diet the non conventional way. Non conventional meaning I found a la git way of doing the HCG diet without going through the expensive program the doctors have to offer. If you want to follow along go to www.myhcgexperience-kriswillyerd.blogspot.com . I'm on my 5th day and I've already lost 5 lbs, so I know it works.

Time flies.....

How Time flies....

It's already March 2nd of the new year and I don't know where the first two months went...... Actually I do, they were fun, crazy, and emotional months. On January 29th my dear sweet angelic daughter Hadley finally turned 8. (weep, weep) I couldn't believe I had an 8 year old and I couldn't believe the time had come for her to get baptized. Hadley sure did celebrate.... On the morning of her 8th birthday tradition is you get to eat birthday cake for breakfast and open 1 present to tie to you over until the family party, but this year was different...... we took off for St. George for her Birthday so it was birthday on the go. It was fun because we celebrated everywhere we went..... first stop Annsley's house to meet up with everyone and open presents, then off to St. George we went. Once we got there we got a birthday cake and celebrated some more and continued to celebrate for a week until Hadley had her 'Late Over PJ Birthday Party' with her friends. After all the celebrating I was exhausted but had no time to rest because it was then time to plan for her baptism on February 14th.

Yes..... it was on Valentines day and I don't think she'll ever forget it and I couldn't think of a sweeter day to be baptized on. I first had to get over the fact that I was old enough to have an 8 year old, but I was reminded very quickly when I looked into the mirror and the reflections showed I was. Oh well.... every wrinkle has been so worth it. Anyhow preparing Hadley to get baptized was a testimony building experience and I hope that Ethan has as many wonderful experiences as Hadley did. I was an emotional basket case until the day of her baptism and waves of emotion came through out the day, but it was a beautiful baptism and I am so grateful for the support from many family members, friends, primary teachers and leaders. We love everyone of you and thank you so much for being such great examples to our daughter and helping her be the best person she can be.

Still even after the baptism the partying really didn't end until after Hadley's Daddy Daughter Date at the end of February. The date consisted of triple dating with some of her friends and their dads in which they all went out to dinner together and then danced the night away at the Jonas Brothers themed dance. From what I heard they had a good time and look forward to next years date with dad.

The past couple of months have been crazy and I really don't see the craziness coming to an end so I am going to bathe in craziness and enjoy it while it lasts.

Thanks for the Memories in 2008

To say the least Christmas at mom and dads is always fun and you don't know what to expect! The food is oh soooo delicious, the nativity program performed by the kids is an adventure, the white elephant exchange is unpredictable (this year was either homemade or free) and we always have a good time.

Thanks 'A' for an amaaaazing New Year's! For the 11 years Jeff and I have been together this was the first New Years spent apart. Jeff being in the Stake Young Mens Presidency he had to chaperone the New Years stake dance (Yipee! I declined to be his date) so I took the youngins to Aaron's house for a New Years party. It was a blast..... the main event was an Amazing Race around South Jordan in which my team kicked everyone's ace's. Victory was very much sweet and to all the loser's.... maybe next year! Ha! Ha! Thanks 'A' and Steph for an awesome party!

Ethans Christmas Sing-a-Long

We went to Ethans preschool to enjoy their Christmas sing-a-long except there was no singing, just a bunch a preschoolers that wanted to go home.
